Uses. Maize yarn is soft and comfortable. It wicks moisture well. Try it for sports socks, baby items, or any project where you want softness and comfort. It's good for vegans too.
Usually blended. Because maize yarn on its own doesn't have much stretch, it is usually blended with another fibre such as elastic nylon. This gives it the necessary stretch to make a snug-fitting pair of socks.
