Handpainted high-twist 8-ply Merino. Supersock DK is a double-knitting weight version of Cherry Tree Hill's best selling Supersock Merino. (Double-knitting weight is usually called 8-ply in Australia.) Hanks are handpainted, 100% supersoft superwash merino. No need for nylon with this long-wearing high-twist yarn. Project ideas. Each hank of Supersock DK still makes an entire pair of socks. You can use a 3.5 mm or 3.75 mm needle. Although this yarn is designed for socks, it makes wonderful garments too.
